An Easter Egg Tree

Not all crafts have to be easy and quick, but it sure is nice to have one every once in awhile.  Last year, I started taking branches and decorating them for every season.  Here's my Easter branch:

I use this vase holiday after holiday.  I grab a new branch, when needed, and I throw the craft together.  I bought these adorable, foam eggs, from JoAnn fabrics.  They were $7.99 but they were on sale for 40%.  I added a little Easter grass and a bow and I had a quick, adorable decoration!

All done!

  2. Our local library has a tree like this. And each holiday/month, they change out the things hanging from it. Last month, they had cut out shamrocks from construction paper.
Your tree reminds me of the Easter tradition my mom did when I was growing up. We hung up the plastic eggs on a real tree outside. Good memory.

  9. Glad you guys liked the egg tree. I already have my spring branch ready, for after Easter! It's such an easy thing to switch around and always have an in season decoration.
