Here's the "BOO" sign I created for under $10.
Here are the materials you need:
*3 pieces of black heavy cardstock cut into 9 inch squares (I used a wavy edge cutting blade for these)
*3 pieces of Halloween themed scrapbooking paper cut into 7 inch squares
*A gluestick
*Black Letters for B-O-O-I used velvet vinyl and cut the letters on my Silhouette. If you don't have a cutting machine, you could print the letters on your computer and use an exacto knife to cut them off. You could then glue them on the sign.
*A hole punch
*Halloween themed ribbon. I got mine at JoAnns and picked candy corn because I thought it was super cute!
See how the black paper has a ribbed edge? It's a nice touch.
The paper is hooked together with the ribbon. I hole punched the corners and fed the ribbon through.
The velvet vinyl is really neat and adds a great texture; although, black cardstock would work well too.
Here's a close up of my great ribbon.
If you're looking for a quick, easy, and inexpensive decoration... this is it. You could also hang it vertically and it would look great!
This is just the beginning of my Halloween decorating ideas. I hope you find some inspiration along the way!
So cute and so creative, and SO easy! All of your Halloween crafts are really cute. Great job!
